It involves working with a plan manager who will manage your NDIS financial transactions on your behalf, allowing you to focus on achieving your NDIS goals and living your best life. By including plan management in your NDIS plan, you can get this service without having to pay any fees out of your own pocket.

Having a NDIS Plan Manager gives you increased control over how your plan funds are used, with the freedom to use both registered and unregistered NDIS providers, which is important when living in remote communities.

The NDIS will cover the cost of your Plan Manager in addition to providing you with your usual disability funding, so you do not need to worry about the extra money for plan management reducing the amount of your budget for care and therapy.
When your providers submit their invoices, the funds are claimed against the service bookings that your plan manager has made with NDIS. The NDIS will release these funds as soon as possible and your provider can be paid within 24 hours or less, depending on if approval is still required.
Whenever you wish, you can switch plan managers during your plan. You should notify your existing plan manager and confirm the date of termination. To make sure there are no delays in processing payments, it is best to have a new plan manager lined up before making the change.
No, absolutely not. All NDIS participants have the right to nominate a plan manager, without the need to explain the reason for getting one.
